I'm not sure what it means, but although I enjoy a train wreck as much as the next guy, in some cases, I still side with the old-school idealsists. The whole Chandra Levy case, and specifically the media's obsession with it, always bothered me (as did the whole Lewinsky affair). But in the world of big-name news, only Dan Rather stood alone... and eventually had to cave a little.
