15th Hawaii Geek Meet
I’ve organized this event since 2008, the same year the San Francisco Maker Faire inspired our own outdoor festival for makers, creators, and innovators. A tech event at the beach, where kids and families are welcome, and where a colorful mixed plate of local organizations come together to share their passions and collaborate on unexpected projects. ʻĀina-Informatics Network Launch
The ʻĀina-Informatics Network is an initiative based at ʻIolani School designed to bring genome science into Hawaiʻi high school classrooms.
