Liliha Bakery opens third location at Ala Moana Center
I was sad to see the iconic Pineapple Room close, and I couldn’t think of another iconic local eatery that would fit in the large space atop Macy’s. But when Liliha Bakery announced they would be moving in, I realized it was a perfect fit.
As charming as the original Kalihi location is, it can barely hold a few dozen people. And while the second Nimitz location is larger, it suffers from limited parking. Setting up shop in Ala Moana Center was a brilliant move.
And the great news is, the restaurant menu and the bakery are exactly what you’d expect. From the famous coco puffs to the infamous red jelly, from hearty breakfasts to delicious dinners, you won’t be disappointed.
With nearly unlimited parking, a large dining room and a large bustling kitchen, this might finally be the Liliha Bakery for everyone.
